Strain Breakdown

The Royal Details

THCA hash is pressed resin rather than flower. This listing carries three traditional styles, Moroccan, Lebanese and La Mousse, in three strains and five sizes, alongside the rest of the THCA concentrates in the Kingdom.

The short version

  • Hash is resin separated from the plant and pressed. It is not flower and not a solvent extract.
  • Moroccan and Lebanese are two of the traditional methods, and they differ in texture and handling.
  • Three strains across the styles: Gelato King, Truffle and Gumbo.
  • Five sizes, from a single gram up to a 100 gram block.
  • USA grown, lab tested by batch, hemp compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill.

What hash actually is

Hash is the oldest cannabis concentrate there is, and the idea behind it is simple.

The resin glands sit on the outside of the flower. Hash is made by separating those glands from the plant material and pressing what is collected into a solid. No solvents are involved. Nothing is added.

That is the whole difference between hash and the flower it came from. The flower is the plant. The hash is the resin off the plant, concentrated by removing almost everything else.

Why it does not behave like flower

Hash does not crumble and it does not grind. It is worked with the fingers, and it wants a little warmth before it will give cleanly.

Moroccan against Lebanese

Both are traditional pressed hash. The difference is in how the resin is collected and worked, and it shows up in the texture.

Two of the styles on this listing, compared.
Moroccan Lebanese
Texture Smooth and pliable Firmer, drier to the touch
Working it Warms and softens readily in the hand Benefits from a little more warmth before it gives
Tradition North African method Levantine method, typically aged

Neither is better than the other. They are two traditions with different handling, and which one suits you is a matter of preference rather than quality.

The three strains

Each style is offered across the same three strains, so you can compare like for like.

  • Gelato King, the Kingdom's own house name
  • Truffle
  • Gumbo

Buy the same strain in two different styles if you want to understand the difference properly. That is the only way to tell what the method is doing rather than what the strain is doing.

Choosing a size

Five sizes, and what each one suits.
Size Suits
1 gram Trying a style or a strain for the first time
5 grams A proper sample across a few sessions
10 grams Regular use
50 grams Volume buying
100 gram block The traditional format, bought by weight

The 100 gram block is a traditional pressed block, not 100 loose grams, and it is sold as such. Not every style is offered in every size, so the selector above is the live record of what can be ordered.

How to work with it

Warm it first. Pressed hash is firm at room temperature. A few seconds between the fingers softens it enough to break a piece off cleanly without crumbling the rest.

Do not grind it. A grinder will clog and you will lose material to the teeth.

Keep it away from heat when you are not using it, or it goes soft and sticks to whatever it is wrapped in.

Storing hash

Cool, dark, airtight, and wrapped. Greaseproof paper or a small glass jar both work. Plastic is the one to avoid, because pressed resin will stick to it and you will leave material behind every time.

Hash keeps better than flower. There is far less plant material in it to dry out, so a block stored properly stays workable for a long time. It still dislikes heat and light.

Trying hash for the first time

Take a single gram of the Moroccan. It is the more forgiving of the two traditional presses to handle, and a gram is enough to know whether the format suits you before you buy a block of it.

Frequently asked questions

What is THCA hash?

Resin separated from the cannabis plant and pressed into a solid. The resin glands sit on the outside of the flower, and hash is what you get when those are collected and pressed with the plant material removed. No solvents are used.

What styles are on this listing?

Three. Moroccan and Lebanese are the two traditional pressed styles, and La Mousse is a modern style that is lighter in texture than either. Not every style is offered in every size.

What is the difference between Moroccan and Lebanese hash?

Both are traditional pressed hash. Moroccan tends to be smoother and more pliable in the hand. Lebanese is firmer and drier and usually wants a little more warmth before it gives. Neither is better, they are different traditions.

Is hash the same as rosin?

No. Rosin is pressed from flower or from hash using heat and pressure to squeeze the resin out as an oil. Hash is the collected resin itself, pressed into a solid rather than extracted into an oil.

How do I break a piece off?

Warm it between your fingers for a few seconds first. It will give cleanly. Do not use a grinder, because pressed resin clogs the teeth and you lose material.

How should I store THCA hash?

Cool, dark and airtight, wrapped in greaseproof paper or kept in a small glass jar. Avoid plastic, because the resin sticks to it. Stored properly it keeps longer than flower does.

Will THCA hash show up on a drug test?

Assume yes. Standard tests look for THC metabolites and do not distinguish hemp derived from anything else. If you are tested for work or any other reason, do not use it.
